VETERAN SERVICES
Employment, training, and placement services are furnished to veterans by all staff in our Workforce Centers. Veteran staff are available to provide vocational guidance and case management services to veterans, especially those with significant barriers to employment.

CAREER ASSESSMENT
O*Net Interest Profiler
A self-assessment career exploration tool that can help individuals discover the type of work activities and occupations that they would like and find exciting. Individuals identify and learn about broad interest areas most relevant to them. They can use their interest results to explore the world of work and search local openings.
Career Videos
Internet based video clips that display basic functions for a variety of occupations. Along with assessment, these videos can help an individual determine if the training or employment that they have been considering is a truly good fit for them.

SERVICES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
People with disabilities are offered a full range of employment services: job search assistance and referrals, interpreter service for individuals who are deaf or require the use of hearing aids and referral to agencies that can assist with their employability needs.

APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING INFORMATION
Apprenticeship is a voluntary, industry-driven program that is sponsored by employers, employer associations and jointly by management and labor. An apprentice, as an employee, receives supervised, structured, on-the-job training combined with related technical instruction in a specific occupation. Apprenticeship is open to anyone age 16 or older, however, an employer may set a higher entry age. Individuals must be age 18 to apprentice in specified hazardous occupations.
